Chief Compliance Officer Consultant 

This is a remote role for a Chief Compliance Officer Consultant. As a Chief Compliance Officer Consultant, you will be responsible for managing compliance efforts across various clients, ensuring regulatory compliance, analyzing compliance issues, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders. You will also be involved in financial management and overseeing compliance and trading operations within the organization. This is a senior position within our client's businesses and require the ability to multi-task and understand a broad array of compliance obligations. As a Chief Compliance Officer Consultant, you may work in a full-time capacity or, if you prefer, as a 1099 contractor. We will accept resumes for both, we just ask that you simply denote your preference in your resume.


Our clients vary from online fintech retail to institutional execution, research firms, private placements, underwriting and M&A, NFA and FINRA registered, broker dealers and investment advisors, etc. As such, please ensure you specify your experience within your resume as it relates to the firms in which you were previously employed.


Qualifications

  • Compliance Management and Regulatory Compliance skills
  • Analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Broad experience across all aspects of compliance
  • Experience in the financial services industry

  • Experience with cryptocurrency compliance is a plus

FinOp Consultant

This is a remote role for a FinOP (Financial and Operations Principal)/ CFO Consultant. You will be providing consulting and accounting services for our clients as well as maintaining financial records in compliance with federal, state and local requirements. Functions you may expect to perform are as follows:

  • Act as a FinOP principal for clients (registered with clients).
  • Prepare and perform various accounting functions to maintain clients’ account books and records. Enter accurate and appropriate client financial data into the computer system on a daily basis.
  • Perform all appropriate functions for the preparation, filing, and mailing of net capital computations, focus reports, and general accounting.
  • Manage and maintain clients’ accounting files and activities and notify appropriate regulatory agencies when needed.
  • Analyze client financial statements and for upward or downward trends, unusual or suspicious account activity, or activities in violation of SEC Net Capital Rules and be able to present the same to Client’s management.
  • Respond to regulatory inquiries regarding net capital violations and other financial-related questions.
  • Compile and finalize year-end reports in a timely manner.
  • Manage day-to-day operations and client relationships with accounting & FinOp clients.
  • Attend conferences and meetings as requested.
